The Northern Europe's largest shipyard, the Polish shipyard Stocznia
Szczecinska has implemented the Miko
Plaster ® technology as standard method for temporary
sealing of inlets below the waterline during an "In-Water"
survey.
All vessels leaving the polish yard, flying Germanischer Lloyd
class and In-Water Survey "In-Water" notation, will carry
a Miko "In- Water" Kit
onboard.
Miko Marine AS has started the
supply of upto 19 "In- Water" Kit to the container vessels
built for the German owner Peter Döhle. The ship-owner and
operator saves time and money, compared to using other existing
methods including using pre-fabricated steel plates to be mounted
over the seachest grids.
